About us

The idea for the iHELP project originates in 2011. Disturbing statistics related to cardiovascular disease (i.e. 7 Million people a year die from sudden cardiac arrest ine the World) made us think about how to enable the general public with an accessible and above all faster assistance, which is essential in order to ensure survival.

With this project we aims to significantly reduce the current high level of mortality in cases of sudden cardiac arrests, to increase the level of public awareness about possible ways of assistance to victims of cardiac arrests, and improve the level of socially responsible communication. One of the goals of the project is to distribute defibrillators (AEDs) throughout every region of the country. The company has detected its opportunity in an area with a high number of specific unresolved problems:With this project we aims to significantly reduce the current high level of mortality in cases of sudden cardiac arrests, to increase the level of public awareness about possible ways of assistance to victims of cardiac arrests, and improve the level of socially responsible communication. The company has detected its opportunity in an area with a high number of specific unresolved problems:

  • over 17.6 million people in the world die every year as a result of cardiovascular diseases;
  • only 7% chance of survival in case of sudden cardiac arrest;
  • poor awareness about the specifics of sudden cardiac arrest among people;
  • complete lack of visibility and availability of defibrillators;
  • late arrival of professional rescue teams at the place of an accident;
  • European Union allocates 200 billion EUR annually for purposes of resolving the problem of cardiovascular diseases.
